Menlo Security

menlo-security

Brief Description

Menlo Security is eliminating the threat of advanced malware by introducing a new cyber security model. The company's software protects against threats and attacks that bypass many advanced security products by mirroring content from a remote browser in the cloud to the desktop, enabling clients to surf safely and securely, with a proprietary Adaptive Clientless Rendering (ACR) technology. The ACR technology was born out of research in the lab of cyber security and privacy expert Dawn Song, a UC Berkeley Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The company was co-founded by Dr. Song and Berkeley graduate student Gautam Altekar, in collaboration with experienced security executives from Check Point Software and Juniper Networks.
